Third base is probably the deepest position in the Major Leagues. Sticking to the National League, here are my top five.
We'll get you started with Ryan Braun, Milwaukee Brewers
Can the 2007 NL Rookie of the Year do what he did last season? Nevertheless, "The Hebrew Hammer" put together an awe-inspiring rookie season with amazing numbers across the board for his first full season in the majors, and at the young age of 24, he's just getting warmed up. Most impressive with Braun is that he led the NL in SLG percentage (.634) along with his 34 HRs, 97 RBIs a .324 BA and 15 SB. I think his overall production will take a dip in his second season, but Braun should stay on pace for maybe a 30-20 season if he runs more. His walk/ strikeout ratio is still too lopsided (29/112) to the K side, but with experience, it should level out.
