He was scratched from his start Sunday vs. PHI secondary to a tired arm.
Fantasy Impact: This explains his troubles the last few starts. Reports are he suffered from this last year in August as well. They plan to just push him back a few days to give his arm a rest. It may take more than just a few days for his arm to properly rest and for him to regain his velocity. The Cubs will do what they need to get this right for the playoffs; so look for them to push him back again this week. Even if he pitches Tuesday, as projected, making him a 2 start pitcher this week; temper your expectations as he will still be pitching with a tired arm.
Melvin Mora, 3B BAL
He was removed Friday night vs. TB after straining his left hamstring; he is expected to be out at least a week.
Fantasy Impact: Any other time of year, he probably goes on the DL. However, with rosters expanding today, they have room on the roster. Even if he is back late in the week, they will rest him more than you would like from a fantasy perspective, Baltimore has nothing to pay for.

He will be activated off the 15 day DL today to start vs. LAD, making him a 2 start pitcher this upcoming week.
Fantasy Impact: He may not go deep into games but has good upside for K’s, ERA and WHIP, especially with 2 starts this week.
