How can you site Dana Eveland's bad time of hit "five" starts two years ago at age 23 for the Brewers as a basis for negative feelings about him.

Look at his career strikeouts per nine innings and great spring as better indicators of his upside.

He is exactly the type of pitcher that you take a flyer on!

Lefty pitcher with good k's and 2 teams let him go? .Ok for trade bait AZ trade to Oakland (Yes Beane got him) but dont go crazy over him is what we said <img src=hock:' />

Is a free agent in most leagues. I drafted as $1 pitcher in the end game. I doubt anyone will have to go crazy for him, but he is a nice stash away...

I don't know what to think of Eveland this year but in the past he had weight/attitude problems that led to teams giving up on him. If he has corrected those he could have a good year.

Kendrick is made of glass...or at least his fingers.

David Murphy was a first round pick by the Red Sox for a reason.

DL informer blog thinks Oswalt may be hiding an injury.

What the Experts Are Saying

"When I read that in Sam Walker's book, it took me back to the early days of LABR and Tout Wars, when Irwin Zwilling and Lenny Melnick were perennial contenders. They did have a knack for knowing the marketplace so well that they could build their roster before even sitting down at the draft. Irwin and Lenny always seemed to be in control of the table and won numerous titles."

  • William Pa : The morons are loose!! Lenny is the best in the business at analyzing Fantasy baseball
  • Wayne Provo : Where's Boris been?
  • gast_8694 : Great Fantasy football show, the best on BlogTalkRadio in my opinion. I really appreciate you guys keeping it real and fast. Lots of information in short amount of time.
  • Wayne Provo : Tony's OK by me...
  • Lenny : I really do not agree and many others share my love for Tonys work as he has 3 of the top 4 rated Sports shows on Blog talk radio
  • gast_7832 : Gast, I have to agree. Lenny, I can appreciate you wanting to make the site better and all, but this latest attempt of adding Tony to the podcasts is an utter failure. I have nothing against the guy Lenny, but he flat takes away from your show. You have votes on all sorts of things...put a poll up about limiting Tony's comments to the written word.
  • gast_2761 : So you're sayin' that you started the podcast right on time today Tony? Tell Lenny we miss him...terribly.
  • gast_7298 : We have asked for thise who use our service ,to send in a contribution to help cover our costs...we assume you have since you are a user...
  • gast_497 : Not a 'concern', more so a likely fact. Anybody who knows anything about advertising realizes where you make a buck, and it's not from charging a few bucks to get the magic key to access the same info they've been getting free for months. You've stuffed this 'free' concept down our throats for months...plz honor it.
  • Paul Greco : I appreciate your concern gast_497. If you'd like to contact Lenny and I you can e-mail us at advice@melnickandgrecofantasysports.com
