Hi Lisa !
I just wanted to take a minute to say how much I have enjoyed your letter answering on the Melnick and Greco website! It’s such a cool idea! I wonder though if you could help my husband, since I’m the fantasy baseball nut in our house J
This is my first year playing, after studying and getting my nerve up for about 3 years prior to this! I’m part of a league called the Fantasy Baseball Mafia, and I think there are about 3 of us…not sure at this point. Maybe next year you’d join us? I’d love to have an all-women’s league as part of the FBM. The other two ladies have started a podcast – maybe you could take a listen? It’s on blogtalk radio called The Gun Molls. It’s a show for not only women, but newbies who need a safe, less testosterone-filled place to get strategy and questions answered. I think you should play a team next year --- with Coach Lenny’s help, you couldn’t lose!!

Send Lisa An EMAIL if Life Gets iN The Way Of Your Real Fantasy
My wife likes them both baseball and Supernatural but is barely tolerant of my fantasy baseball...........especially during the month of March where I overuse the computer and block off the weekends.... and speak endlessly outloud about decisions that have to be made.............. and watching the ticker on ESPN, that really pisses her off!
Maybe I'll have to send her a link to your column .............. she's been dealing with this for 22 years.

Wanted to let you know know matter how bad Lenny is about fantasy baseball I just may be worse.
My daughter is about to have a baby tonight and I have a draft to do.
She is getting induced at 3:00pm and I am drafting at 7:30.
So my question is, if I stay home for the draft and go to the hospital after am I the worst person on earth

Lisa,
Last night I started to complain to wife that i couldn't understand why a certain team has been playing a player competing for the 2nd baseman job at shortstop all spring. she nicely said you realize you are speaking a language i dont understand, right? my response was to ask her is she knew the difference between Shortstop and 2nd base and she said of course.
so where is the disconnect? ( translation - where can i buy the dictionary that explains my language without it involving her shopping for a new purse or jewelry?)

Hi Lisa,
Just wanted to tell you that as a fantasy baseball (and football) participant of twenty-two years, I appreciate your tolerance of Lenny's passion for the industry that he has made an appreciable impression on. My Mrs. has "tolerated" me as a mate for thirty-three years now, and the smartest move I ever made was telling her up-front that I was a sports junkie. ![]() She accepted my passion for sports and understood when I picked-up on rotisserie involvement back in 1986 (splitting any winnings with her didn't hurt either!) ![]()
My daughter (31) is married to a fanatic Mets' fan and made the smooth transition to married life after being raised in our sports-filled home. My son (now 28) is a carbon copy of his old man (bleeds Yankees pinstripes) , so when he does tie the knot, hopefully he'll be lucky enough to find a lady in the mold of my Barbara or yourself. I know we oft-times don't tell you how much you mean to us when we're glued to the TV, flipping between the sixteen games that are on, but believe me, you do. It can't be easy, but you're there for us and thus I say THANK-YOU! Best regards,

My wife, Liz and I have tension over my fantasy baseball habit. After some “discussion” I agreed to limit to 2 real leagues.
I also try my best to “stay off the computer”. I am sometimes successful at this.
